Arrogance

In the Borg cube

They forced me to my knees, pressed a neural link to my neck. I resisted. You arrived.

Arrogant, discussing weapons of mass destruction with pale, full lips, you were the most powerful person I had ever met.

You were one then. Do you remember the hand on my shoulder, fingers on my neck, my body on the floor at your feet?

You have lost the knowledge, the power, the certainty of millions.

I thought that I could make it worth it. I thought that I could love you.

Arrogant.

You say you aren't sorry. Do you remember what you've lost?
