Vanilla dreams

Kathryn murmured slightly in her sleep and stirred. Seven reached over and brushed a few strands of hair from Kathryn's face. She put her hand back by her side and continued her contemplation of the roof in Captain Kathryn Janeway's sleeping quarters. It had been a night of discoveries for both of them. Kathryn had revealed to Seven that she loved her, and Seven, in turn, realised that she did love Kathryn as well. Now they lay together in Kathryn's bed, their limbs entangled. The alarm sounded again, this time accompanied by a voice.
'Regenertaion cycle incomplete.'
Seven stepped out of her alcove and looked around at the familiar surroundings of Cargo Bay 2.

'Interesting.' She said to herself. 'Computer, personal log, Seven of Nine. I believe I have dreamed - a most unusual and slightly unsettling experience. While the subject matter was?' Seven paused slightly, 'not unpleasant, the overall effect upon conclusion is rather disorienting. End of log.'

Seven looked around at the Cargo Bay again, a slight smile gracing her features.

'Interesting.' She said once more, still smiling
