Part One

Gabrielle Janeway stood on the transporter pad of the time ship, the USS Trebor, with a frown on her face.

"Captain."  She said, to the small, dark skinned woman standing next to the console.  "Are you sure that being who I am will not endanger this mission?"

Captain Rebecca Davis resisted the urge to roll her eyes.
"Lt."  she barked.  "As I have stated before, there is no one better suited, or more qualified for this mission.  You have a unique knowledge of the situation."

Gabrielle tugged at the collar of the extremely old style uniform she was wearing, and sighed.  "Understood."  Her mother taught her well.  Never argue with a senior officer.

"All right." the Captain stated.  "Let’s get this underway.  Lt. Janeway, remember, You have twelve hours.  If you fail. . ."

"I will succeed."  she stated.

"Energize."  She heard the command from her captain, and then felt the familiar sensation of her molecules being displaced.

The next thing she saw was the familiar corridor of the USS Voyager.  She let out a sigh of relief as her equipment told her she had arrived at the correct time.  She had exactly twelve hours to find the cause of the accident, and correct it, other wise everything she knew, and even herself, would have never existed.

Captain Kathryn Janeway stretched and rolled over in bed, expecting to find a familiar warmth beside her.  When her groping hands found nothing but empty space, she opened her eyes and looked around the room.

Nothing.

Sighing, she crawled out of bed, and put on her robe.  As she padded softly into the living area, she found who she was looking for.

"Seven?"   Kathryn said quietly, not wanting to startle the woman, in case she didn’t hear her enter the room, even if that was highly improbable.

Seven looked up from her workstation, and smiled at the sleepy expression on her spouse’s face.

"Kathryn,"  she said.  "You should be sleeping."

"I know darling, but we missed you."  the older woman said, stifling a yawn.

Seven rose up from her desk, walked towards the captain and said, "I do not believe the baby has reached that stage of development, Kathryn."  Seven reached her hands out and placed one on the slightly rounded stomach of her spouse, and the other around her waist.

Kathryn leaned into the embrace with a sleepy groan.  "If that were true,"  the captain countered, "Then we would still be sleeping, not out here looking for you."

"Indeed,"  Seven said as she tightened the hold on the sleepy woman.  "Shall we go to the bedroom then?"  the ex-Borg asked, with a touch of amusement to her tone.

"By all means."  the captain replied.   Seven gently lifted her captain in her arms and carried her to the bed.  She noted with some amusement, that Kathryn was already asleep when she placed her gently in bed.

Not bothering to wake her in order to take off her robe, Seven curled up beside her sleeping spouse.  Gently kissing the captain on the forehead, she too settled down for the night.

B’Elanna Torres was up early this morning.  Her almost two year old daughter, Elizabeth,  had risen at an ungodly hour, and she hadn’t been able to get back to sleep.  Leaving her in the capable hands of her father, the chief engineer decided to get some early maintenance done in engineering.

She rounded the corner towards her office, and was startled by someone unfamiliar working at the warp console.  The girl was tall, much taller than herself, with dark blonde hair tied back in a ponytail.

"Excuse me. . ."  B’Elanna said as she walked towards the woman.  "But would you mind telling me what you are doing here?"

The woman turned around and placed her hands behind her back in an oddly familiar gesture.

"I’m sorry."  the woman said, turning to leave, avoiding eye contact with the engineering chief.

"Wait." B’Elanna said.  The woman turned around, and B’Elanna had a strange since of de-ja-vu when she looked into the woman’s grayish eyes.

"What’s your name and position. . ."  B'Elanna eyed the pips on the woman's collar.  "Lt.?"

"Jane. . .  um. . . Jinks.  I am in operations."

"Well Lt. Jinks from operations, don’t you think you should stick to your own department?"

"Yes ma‘am."  The woman stated, and backed out of engineering so fast that B'Elanna wasn’t able to say anything else.

Strange  the klingon thought to herself, and she stared at the space once occupied by Lt. Jinks.   She had a odd since that something wasn’t right here.  She prided on knowing everyone on board, and it was highly unlikely that she would have spent the last 9 years stranded in the delta quadrant, and not seen this crewmember at least once.   She decided to do a little checking on this Lt. Jinks of operations, as soon as she got her reports finished.

"Damn it."  Gabrielle cursed to herself as she made her way to astrometrics.  She should have been more careful.  Forty-five minutes had passed and she was no closer to a solution than she was when she got here.

Engineering had come up clean, no signs of contamination.  There were still more places she could try, but she had felt sure that engineering was the starting point.

She knew that she had to be careful now that someone had seen her, and spoke to her.  She had been hoping that no one would notice her, or if they did, just think she was some lower decks personnel that never made it past deck 8.  With the temporal prime directive, she had to keep her contact with these people to a minimum.  She would have to be cautious.

The doors to astrometrics slid open for her, and she noted with some relief that it was empty.  Placing a Borg encryption seal on the door, she ensured herself some privacy for a little while.  No one was supposed to come in here, until the scheduled duty shift, and that was some three hours away.  She brushed an errant strand of dark blonde hair aside, and started working, digging up the information needed to complete her mission successfully.  Failure was not an option.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"The time is now 0600."  the computer stated as the lights went up to full.
Kathryn Janeway winced at the brightness now interrupting her sleep.  Looking over towards Seven, she noted that the Borg was still sleeping, the alarm having no effect on her.  Seven slept like the dead.  Janeway smiled and ran her fingers through the silken strands of white blond hair, and decided that a few more minutes wouldn't hurt anything.
Just as she settled back to go to sleep, the nausea started.  Her eyes popped open, and with a groan, she hurled herself into the ensuite just in time.  After loosing what was left from last night’s dinner, she sat weakly on the floor.  Wishing for the thousandth time that the Doctor could come up with something to stop this.  "It’s the natural process of gestation, Captain."  he had said.  All she really wanted to do was show him the natural process of deactivation.
She leaned her head against the coolness of the faux porcelain surface before her, and concentrated on her breathing, hoping that would keep her from throwing up again.  She felt a cold cloth being placed against her neck, and she groaned from the sheer pleasure of it.
"Thank you darling."  she said, weakly.
"I would say that it was my pleasure,"  Seven replied.  "But it is not pleasurable to see you this way.  Do not worry.  This stage of the pregnancy should be over in less than one month."
"How comforting."  Kathryn said, now using the cloth to wipe her face.  "I guess we better get ready for duty." she said, a bit of strength added in her tone, almost as if she was trying to convince herself that it was the right thing to do.
"What do you want for breakfast?"  Seven replied, pulling out towels, and various items needed to successfully get ready for the work day.
Kathryn’s stomach instantly felt sick again. "Do not even mention food to me Seven.  It will make me ill."  She said as she weakly laid her head down on the side of the toilet once more.
Seven, knowing for a fact that as soon as her wife felt better, any food in sight would be consumed by her pregnant spouse, only replied with a raised eyebrow.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Janeway took a shower first.  They had found out early in their relationship, that when they started out their days showering together, they were usually anywhere from 15 minutes to 2 hours late.  When she stepped out of the shower, the sent of waffles hit her nostrils, and her stomach growled.  "God, I am hungry this morning after all."  she mumbled to herself, and proceeded to get dressed.  Thankful that she didn’t have to alter her uniform very much yet, she walked into the living area looking fresh and radiant.

"I have replicated you some waffles, hash browns, and decaffeinated coffee."  Seven said, as she placed the food on the table.

Janeway frowned.  "I hate decaf, but I will take what I can get."
Seven just pretended not to hear anything as she walked to the ensuite.

Less than ten minutes later, Seven walked back into the living room, dressed in her blue and gray bio-suit, and with her hair in its usual twist at the nape of her neck.

"Was breakfast enjoyable, Kathryn?"  she asked her spouse, as she was looking over a padd.  The plate that had been so full when she had left to get ready now looked like there had never been anything on it.

"Yes, very.  Thank you for replicating it for me."

"Your welcome."  The former borg said, placing a kiss against the reddish brown hair of her spouse as she walked behind her.  They talked a few moments more, making plans for lunch,  before parting for the day.  They held hands all the way to the turbolift, and then all the way up until they had to separate for the day.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Everything was as usual when Janeway arrived on the bridge.  She briefly nodded at Tuvok, and spared a smile for Lt. Harry Kim, as she made her way to the captain’s chair next to Chakotay.
"Good morning, Kathryn."  Her first officer said.  "And how are you feeling today?"
"I am doing well this morning."  She grinned at her friend before getting down to business.
"What can you tell me about this area of space we are in."  She said accessing her console near the arm rest.
"From what I can tell from Seven’s reports, this area of space seems to be pretty unremarkable. The science crew has requested that we stop to observe a interesting nebula we should be coming up on shortly."
"Humm"  Janeway said, as she looked at the information about the nebula on her console.  "Please tell the science department that I can’t approve the study.  If we stopped for every interesting nebula we passed, we would never make it home."
"Understood."  Chakotay said, fingers moving over his console.
"A patch of unremarkable space sounds like good news to me."  Janeway said, still looking at something on her console.
"Actually, I also have some bad news also Captain."  Chakotay said looking entirely to trite.
"Oh really?"  Janeway said, offering a bland look.  "Well, please inform me, Commander."
"It’s time for our yearly personnel evaluations."
Janeway was not pleased.  If there was one thing she hated about being a captain, this was it.  The endless paper work drove her insane.  "Well,"  she said, ignoring the smirk on her first officer’s face who obviously knew that this particular administrative duty annoyed her.  "I guess that we should get busy then."  She said with false enthusiasm.  She rose from her chair, and nodded at Tuvok as she passed by, passing the command over towards him effectively.  After nine years together, the crew worked like a well oiled machine, and did not need the formalities required on other ships.
As Kathryn stepped into her ready room with Chakotay following behind, she chastised herself for wishing for a red alert, and sat down at her desk.  She pulled up the first crewmembers file, as Chakotay sat down across from her.
"The Doctor to Janeway."
The Doctor’s voice interrupted what her first officer was going to say.  With a look of apology towards the man sitting across from her, she answered.
"Go ahead Doctor."
"I wanted to remind you about your appointment today at 0100.  Please don’t be late, I have several other patients to see today."
Janeway fought the urge to roll her eyes at the ships CMO, and instead answered with a prompt "Understood.  Janeway out."
Chakotay looked positively annoying with that unflattering smirk plastered on his face, and she fought down the urge to slap it off.  It was at this time, that the Captain realized that her hormones must be overactive today.
Stifling her unattractive urges, Janeway settled down to business.  She quickly found herself wishing for something to come up.  She didn’t have to wait long.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

When Seven arrived in astometrics,  she noticed that her board had been recently accessed.

When she tried to find what had been done, she was startled to see that whomever accessed the board had used her codes, or she had forgotten to log off from duty the day before.  That was odd.  She never forgot to log off.  Never one to admit a failure, she dug a little deeper, and noticed that the board had been activated only two hours ago.

Someone was using her codes, and doing scans on voyager.

Seven’s hands flew over her console as she recovered the information that had been accessed.  A complete scan of Voyager, a personnel list, and the amount, and location of dilithium on board was the information that was accessed.  Seven frowned, and hit her comn badge.

"Seven to Captain Janeway."

"Janeway here.  What is it Seven."

"Report to astrometrics."

"On my way."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Was there any more information that was accessed besides what is here?"  The captain asked, looking into the classic features of her spouses face.
"No.  This was all that was viewed."
"Well, I’ll have Tuvok come down and take a look.  It doesn’t seem that there was any malicious intent, but it is a security matter when someone uses another crew member’s access codes."  Janeway said, eyes scanning the information in front of her.
"Understood."  Seven said, eyes still trained on the console before her.
"I have an appointment with the Doctor today."  Janeway said, laying her hand on Seven’s forearm, effectively changing the tone of the conversation from work to personal matters.
"At 0100 hours.  I have already scheduled a replacement for astrometrics so I may attend."  Seven looked up and smiled slightly as she turned and allowed her hand to grasp Janeway’s in a loose grip.
In the beginning of their relationship, Kathryn had had some problems with showing affection, but in time, that had faded, and the couple now had no problems blending their working and personal lives.  It was to hard not to, being so far away from the federation, and after much thought, Kathryn was able to relax her protocols to adapt to the precarious situation that the crew of Voyager had found themselves in.
Three years after her decision to become a generational ship, she had no regrets.  Sure, there were hard times, various scrapes with dangerous species, spacial anomalies that threatened to tear the grand lady Voyager apart with their fierceness, but in the end, sheer hope and determination saved them every time.  Now the crew weren’t just people thrown together in a dire situation, they were a family, and that family was growing everyday.
After Janeway’s announcement, engineering had began building onto the ship, adding more family quarters, meeting places, and all of the various things a small community required.  The number of people on the ship had gone from 141 to 152 over the three years.
At times, the Captain felt the strain of having to protect the smallest members of Voyager’s community, especially when she would be fighting for their very survival, but when she looked at the happiness of her crew, all her doubts would vanish.  Since her momentous decision, morale had been higher, and productivity had taken a momentous leap.
It wasn’t to long after the first children had been born that Seven and Kathryn had started thinking about having children of their own.  After much discussion, almost two years worth, they had decided to go through with it.  Seven was ecstatic, and Janeway was just plain scared.  It was three months today, since the conception, and besides the morning sickness, that tended to last well past the morning, and a small incident that had happened shortly after conceiving, everything was going quite well.
"How are you feeling?"  Seven asked, gripping the smaller hand in her own.
"As well as can be expected."  Janeway replied, leaning on the console nearest to her, and resisting the urge to pinch the bridge of her nose.
"To be perfectly honest, Seven,"  she said.  "I am feeling extremely tired today.  I plan on asking the Doctor about it, since I seem to be sleeping relatively normal."
"Indeed."  Seven replied, with marked sarcasm in her voice.  Kathryn had never been a good sleeper.  Waking up several times during the night had always been the normal for her, and now, the pregnancy seemed to exacerbate this problem in her spouse.  Seven had started insisting on her spouse taking small naps to help alleviate the problem of her chronic fatigue.  At first, Kathryn had been appalled at the notion of taking some time off duty just for the purpose of catching a ‘few quick winks’ during the day, but after a slight scare that resulted in the couple almost loosing their precious child, Kathryn took small naps when things were slow during the day.
Kathryn smiled at her wife, and brought her knuckles up to her lips where she placed a small kiss against them.
"I must be going darling, duty calls."  Janeway said, a regretful tone in her voice.  It seems that even after two and a half years of marriage, there was still no one other than the beautiful Seven of Nine that she wanted to spend the majority of her time with.  Kathryn Janeway was extremely thankful that Seven felt the same way.
"I also have some work to complete before the appointment."  Seven stated, pressing her body against the warmth of the captains.  Kathryn allowed this indulgence not only for Seven, but for herself, as she felt her body respond to the proximity of her soul mate.  They kissed briefly, feeling the pull of the connection that they shared, the same connection that had brought them together over space and time.  All too soon, the kiss had ended, and a breathless Janeway left astrometrics feeling a little less tired, and a lot more amorous.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Gabrielle Janeway rubbed her temples in a futile attempt to stop the headache she was getting.  Headache was a side effect of the time travel.  It would fade in a few moments, but that thought was no comfort to her now, as it greatly impaired her ability to think.

She walked the lower decks of Voyager with her head hung low, not wanting to risk the chance of someone stopping her, and attempting to carry on a conversation.  With an athletic gracefulness graced to her from her parentage, she managed to walk quickly, making great time through the long corridors of Voyager, without looking like she was actually in a hurry.

When she had been recruited for this mission, she had studied all the available information regarding the accident that had destroyed Voyager.  An accident that should have never of happened.

Somehow, a contaminant that the crew had unwittingly picked up from one of their many dilithium mining expeditions on an alien planet would react with a nebula that they were scheduled to pass though in less than 9 hours.  The contaminant was completely undetectable to Voyager’s scans, and as they passed through the nebula, it would liquefy, spreading its toxins all over the ship, and killing every organic thing at the sub atomic level within minutes.  The crew never knew what happened.

Gabrielle shuddered at the thought that this was going to happen in just a few hours to her family and friends if she didn’t stop it.  Stealing her reserve, she set her mind to work, with our without a headache.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
B’Elanna Torres frowned.  According to the recent records, the only Lt. Jinks in operations died in the initial entry to the Delta quadrant.  And to top it off, that Lt. Jinks had been male.  With a sneaking suspicion that something was terribly wrong, she tapped her comm badge.
"Torres to Tuvok."
"Tuvok here."
"A strange thing happened in engineering this morning, and I thought that you should know about it."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Tuvok walked with purposeful intent into astrometrics.  The report that he had gotten from his captain had been, disturbing.  It was a serious matter when someone stole another crewmember’s access codes, and coupling with the information that Lt. Torres had just given him, he believed he had just reason to be concerned.

Spotting Seven of Nine’s form in her usual spot, running scans on the nearby planetary systems.

"Seven.  Would you mind showing me the information that you showed the captain earlier."

"Not at all."  She stated, pulling up the information, and standing aside in her usual position, with her hands behind her back.

"Were you aware,"  The dark skinned vulcan stated, as she browsed the information on the screen.  "That there was a report from engineering that there was a suspicious person attempting to run a diagnostic on the warp core this morning?"

Seven frowned.  Perhaps this problem was larger than her wife had originally thought.  "No Commander.  I was unaware of that."

Tuvok offered no reply, as his mind worked around the information in front of him.  Seven watched as he studied the reports, and then came to a decision.  Tapping on his comm badge he said  "Tuvok to Captain Janeway."

"Go ahead."  Came the expected reply.

"Captain, I believe that there is an intruder on board."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"We believe that there is an intruder on board."  Tuvok‘s impassive tone not lessening the shock of this news.
"Are you sure?"  Lt. Paris asked.
"Yes."  Tuvok’s voice came back at him, dismissing any doubt.   "Earlier this morning, someone accessed the console in astrometrics using Seven of Nine’s access codes.  Lt. Torres noticed a strange woman running a warp core diagnostic, and there are reports of missing equipment from all over the ship."
"B’elanna, do you think that you could describe this person to us?"  Chakotay asked.
"Sure."  The klingon said, searching her memory.  "I would guess her age to be anywhere from 20 to 25, and she had dark blonde hair.  There isn’t much else that I can tell you.  I did have a strange feeling when I looked in her eyes, like I should know her, but I have never seen her before."
The captain’s eyes touched briefly on everyone in the room during the silence that followed B‘elanna‘s statement.  There really wasn’t much she could do until she had more information.
"Tuvok. Get a security team to start doing sweeps of each deck.  Tell them that they are looking for someone fitting  Lt. Torres’s description of the intruder.
Harry, keep your eye out for any unauthorized transports."  Janeway said, her voice hard.
"All right everyone.  We don’t know who this person is, or what she is here to accomplish.  I want everyone on the look out for her.  Keep this quiet.  I don’t want to startle her into hiding, and let her get away."  She watched the various nods from her senior staff, and pushed down a wave of nausea.
"Dismissed."
The captain of Voyager watched as her crew left, talking among themselves.  With a nod to her spouse as she left, Kathryn Janeway rose from the head of the table, and followed them out of the room, and onto the bridge, pondering the latest situation all the way to the captain‘s chair.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The specialized tricorder Lt. Janeway held in her hands was trembling slightly.  She had found it.  The contaminant was right here, in front of her, literately staring her in the face.  Her joy was short lived, as she realized that the amount she had predicted would be aboard Voyager was grossly underestimated.

There was at least three times the amount she had come prepared for.  This meant another trip to engineering for supplies.  She looked at the chromometer that she carried with her.  She had had a difficult time in the early hours procuring the instruments that she had needed, a return trip during the busiest hours of the alpha shift was not something she was looking forward to.  It could be dangerous.  She could get caught.  She would have to be very careful.  She knew that she didn’t have time to waste, only 6 and a half hours left before Voyager would come in contact with the nebula.  Steeling her reserve, and checking her supplies, she stepped out of the holding bay on deck 12, and into the corridors of Voyager.

She had barely rounded the corner when she bumped into someone.

"Oh, sorry."  Came the voice from the young girl she had just ran in to.

Gabrielle wanted to slap herself.  She had forgotten that deck 12 also held the children's area, in addition to the holding bays used for storage.  Of course there would be children running around down here, going from one room to another.

Trying not to make eye contact with the girl whom she now knew only from the sound of her voice, she said "That's alright."  She then tried to sidestep around the inquisitive 9 year old.  Her fast footwork wasn’t enough, and Naomi Wildman asked the question that many security officers were right now wondering, stopping Gabrielle in her tracks.

"Who are you.  I don’t think I have seen you down here before."

"Jinks.  I was doing inventory on the holding decks."  Gabrielle replied, darting her eyes around, focusing on anything other than Naomi’s eyes.

"That’s strange."  The young girl said, searching the face of the woman in front of her.  "I am the captain's bridge assistant, and there isn’t an inventory scheduled for the next three weeks!"

"Well, it was moved up."  Gabrielle couldn’t keep the smile out of her voice.  Naomi Wildman had always had an uncanny ability to know the goings on of Voyager, apparently, even from the beginning.

"Oh, OK."  The young girl said, and Gabrielle couldn’t help but think of her past, bringing a smile to her face.

From the moment she was born, Naomi Wildman had been a part of her life.  Naomi had been her mama’s best friend, and her mother’s bridge assistant.  The girl had spent a lot of time with Gabrielle’s family when she was little.  They had practically grown up together, despite the almost 10 year age difference between them.

When Gabrielle turned 12, she developed a large crush on the older girl, who, at 21, was a cadet in starfleet training classes.  When she was 14, Voyager made its way back to the alpha quadrant due to the transwarp drive that her mama developed.  She didn’t see much of Naomi after that, Gabrielle stationed with her parents aboard the USS Hudson, her mother’s newest command, and Naomi completing her training back on Earth.  But on Gabrielle’s own graduation day from the academy, Naomi Wildman had been there, and the crush she still had on the older woman developed into full blow love.  The two were married only 6 months after that
in Indiana, and Gabrielle couldn’t help but think that her wife was just as adorable as a child as she was now.

"I really should be going now.  I have to baby-sit Beth Torres this afternoon.  I am on my way to pick her up right now.  Nice talking to you  Jinks!"  The girl said, rounding the corner heading for the nursery, and out of sight.

Gabrielle sighed.  She had just been reminded of why she needed to succeed.

Making sure there was no one else around, she popped the hatch to the jefferies tubes, and crawled inside, making her way to deck 8, and engineering.  She had been utilizing the jefferies tubes instead of the busy turbolifts to make her way through the ship.  As she stepped out onto the deck, she noted with some disgust that she was covered in dust and grime.  Stepping in a small alcove along the wall, she dusted herself off as best as she could.  Running a hand through her hair, and trying her best to look presentable, she stepped out of the alcove, and towards the
large doors.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Captain Kathryn Janeway stepped into the deserted sick bay.  Looking around, she located the Doctor in his office, looking over something, and humming to himself.
She walked closer to the office, and cleared her throat.  The Doctor looked up immediately, and smiled.
"Captain!  How nice to see you."  He rounded his desk, tricorder in hand.  "You are actually a little bit early today.  I am stunned.  I had thought that with everything going on, you would have been a no show."
"Humm."  was Janeway’s only response.  She had come early at the instance of her spouse.  There was so much activity on Voyager at the moment, due to the search for the intruder, that Seven had been afraid that her wife would miss the appointment all together.    Janeway had at first dismissed the idea of even visiting sick bay at all today, stating that she had to much to do, much to the dismay of Seven, but she had begun to feel extremely shaky as the day wore on, and had decided that maybe a  early visit wouldn’t be to bad. . . as long as it was quick.  Because of the earlier time, Seven couldn’t join her for the appointment.
She took a seat on the nearest bio bed as the Doctor continued his scans.
"How have you been feeling lately.  The nausea going away?"  The Doctor asked.
"For the most part."  The captain said, trying to keep her answers short.  She had a lot to do today, and needed to get this over with.  She watched as the Doctor’s face changed into a frown, and immediately her attitude changed.
"Captain, have you been eating regularly?"
"Of course.  I eat almost all the time."  she said, feeling a sharp lance of fear thread through her at the thought of doing harm to her child by not taking good enough care of herself.  She knew that she had to cut down on her stress level, but right now she had a ship to protect.  At that moment, she decided that as soon as the intruder was caught, she would take some time off.
"How many times a day do you throw up."  The doctor asked, putting down the tricorder, and programming a hypospray.
"Anywhere from 3 to 6 times, but it has been getting better."  she said, hands covering her abdomen.  "Doctor, if there is something wrong. . ."  she said, then trailed off, not quite knowing what else to say.
The Doctor smiled his reassurance towards her.  "There is nothing wrong, captain, the baby is fine.  Your body is just having a hard time being pregnant.  I am going to give you some vitamins and nutrients, and also something to help you keep some of that food you eat down."  He pressed the hypospray to her neck.
Janeway almost sighed out loud at the relief she felt thread through her the instant the hypospray was pressed.  The constant nausea that had been with her for so long disappeared.  "Thanks."  she said, suddenly feeling very tired.
"I want you to come in and get an injection everyday.  The medications should help you start to feel better.  I would suggest that you start eating and sleeping more, but I know that it will go right in one ear and out the other, so I will not bother.  Every thing else is going perfectly. You and Seven should start thinking about names for that little girl."  The Doctor said as he was putting away his equipment.
"Thank you Doctor."  Janeway said, standing up and straightening up her uniform, and pushing her fear to the back of her mind, letting the command persona come back to the front.
She exited sick bay, and decided to pay a visit to Seven in astrometrics to let her know how the appointment went.
"Tuvok to Captain Janeway."
The voice of her security officer made her steps falter.
"Go ahead."  She replied.
"We have apprehended the intruder.  She is being held in the brig."
Janeway did an abrupt about face, and headed towards the lift.
"On my way."
